In 1979 Scott started his business in Chicago using 8 track analog. In 1987 he added the Sony/MCI JH 2" Analog 24 Track with the Auto Locator III and the Neotek Series II Console and has been working with that ever since. Scott recorded many bands and had much success such as the 4 song demo that got "Stabbing Westward" signed to a major deal with Sony Records. He's worked with the likes of Bernard Purdie, Elliott Randoll (Stealy Dan) and Billy Dickens (Bassist), Blink 182, Unwritten Law, Pivit, Agent 51, Jerry Finn.
In 1994 Scott moved all his equipment to Escondido in southern California and set up with DML Studio. He was the sole engineer there till 1999 when Scott opened up his own business at 629 West 5th Avenue in Escondido. Scott worked with many bands over his career thus far ( see "clients" link below ).
